Topics of discussion are nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and goal setting.This group is free of charge and open to all community members regardless of their eligibility for services at CMHSAS. * All peer support wellness and recovery groups/content are peer to peer evidenced based practices. They are not a substitute for professional therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. The Wellness & Recovery Team, part of the Peer Support Services program at Community Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services of St. Joseph County (CMHSAS), offers a variety of groups focused on enhancing the whole person through peer support, recovery education, and advocacy.

Hear the experts in the field share on the effect of Marijuna legalization in Colorado and other states and what that may mean for Michigan if the balllot measure passes in November. This event is a day of FREE goods & services provided by over 75 local agencies and organizations. Come connect with all the services available to you in Saint Joseph County including but not limited to: utilities, housing, education, legal aide, healthcare/insurance, parent groups, employment, senior services, and transportation. Many services will be available on site including free medical health screening, shots and other immunizations, food boxes, haircuts, and more. The mobile Secretary of State unit will also be on site providing services. A meal is also served to all who attend. Free transportation to and from this event is available through SJC Transportation Authority- call 269-273-7808 with at least 72 hours notice.
